The talk will present an overview of the key aspects of ongoing research, advocacy, and activism around reproductive healthcare access in the United States of America. Including projects both prior and following the Supreme Court Dobbs decision that overturned the federal guarantee to abortion, rendering abortion illegal across various states in the country. I will discuss opportunities to intervene in law, policy, and the built environment.

Lori A. Brown, AIA Fellow, is a Distinguished Professor of architecture as well as a practitioner. Her work is rooted in feminist methodologies in the built environment.
